i need a VERY basic pancake recipe, on a budget, and i need to know how many it makes!?

Im in year 8 and im on my schools Student Representative Council, and we have decided to have a Pancake Day to raise money for our schools environmental leadership team, and for a charity that the school will decide. we need a basic, but yummy recipe, and need to know how many it makes so we can compare the ingredients price to the price of a shaker bottle pancake mix. We are selling them for 50c each (australian) and are hoping for a large profit. We will be making them as we go along, so we want to be quick, in our food tech room, and will be cooking them just outside the door on a big BBQ bench top that we will rent. i hope for some answers soon as the day is in 2 weeks!! i think thats all the information that might help! thankyou in advance!

Homemade dog food question?

Is there anything wrong with my homemade dog food recipe? 2 cups beef gravy 2 cups finely diced buckboard ham 1 small finely diced potato 2 small diced carrots 2 1/2 cups cooked white rice Is there anything wrong with this? Is anything in it bad for my dogs? If it matters, my dogs are border collie/australian shepherd/newfoundland, lhasa apso/terrier, and wolf/husky/chow, and they are 50, 25 and 85 pounds respectively and 2,5, and 2 years old, respectively. What food contitutes a Diabetes diet?

As a 47 man who lives alone my doctor just advised me to take up a diet to prevent diabetes, he said my glucose level was 6.9 & I should cut sweet things out, along with pasta, potatoes, bread, eat more vegies than fruit, but as a basic Australian diet I dont eat any take away foods at all, I cook everything. I use healthy olive & canola oils for cooking what else can I do, is thier a web site that I could find diabetic friendly recipe's? I tried google but that was as much help as hip pockets on a G'string! (a thong in USA) thanks for all the help.

Don't have white wine-can I use red wine with chicken recipe?

I do not want to go to store- making chicken recipe and I only have an Australian red wine, normally make with white wine. I am wanting to get my gf a present for her birthday. She has told me she really loves to cook and follow recipes. I was thinking I could get her an awesome recipe book. Like one that is easy to follow and also covers a large range of foods. It would also be nice if it had nice pictures in it. I have 2 questions here: firstly, will she think I am buying her a recipe book cos I want her in the kitchen and cooking for me all the time? The second is, who knows of an awesome recipe book. Does any1 have the recipe cooked a few weeks ago on better homes & gardens it was a mustard deepfried chicken? I cant find this recipe anywhere and dont know what magazine issue it would be in. I know the lady did the chicken in pieces and coated it with a mustard mixture then deepfried it and then it went in the oven if i remember rightly. Please if anyone knows what im talking about i'd love to hear from you. Have had a recipe sent to me that was very similar but not the one im after, i specfically remember her deep frying the chicken on the show.
