i really want to try cooking something different. I have never tried stuffed pasta , but i bought some Cannelloni shells and i would like to know what i would do next. I would love you to recommend a recipe that that tastes great and incorporates Caribbean ingredients as thats where i am from. Other pasta recipes would also be appreciated.

I bought a book some months ago on caribbean cookery and in it was a recipe for jerk chicken - i tried it out, but it didnt taste like anything iv eaten in the past (maybe it was just my cooking !!)
My family and I like a lot of spicy food, thai curry, nigerian stew, nigerian soup, jalfrezi etc.
I would like to cook something new for a change. My problem is i dont know what to cook other than the curries, stews etc. I think if i must cook curries, at leat maybe i could try a different curry than the ones I have mentioned.
Can anyone recommend anything?
The other, less important thing is that it would be nice to get away from rice cos we eat that too much (however my husband and daughter dont really like potatoes)

I would like to know how to make the soft fudge. i can only make the hard fudge so i figure that i am doing something wrong. can some 1 provided me with a recipe with measurements and the time to keep the fudge on the stove. i dont know if i cook it for too long thats y it gets hard. thanks

I cook fried green tomatoes, fried plantatians, jamaican beef patties, fufu, coco bread, sweet tea, apple pie, fried chicken, seafood gumbo, chicken gizzards, avacodo salad, oxtail and maybe some biscuts with homemade sweet butter

Here is my recipe:
Shrimp, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt & limes. I am going to grill the shrimp instead of pan fry (recipe 21051 from recipezarr for you foodys). what would be a good side or sides for this meal? I've never cooked caribbean cuisine before... Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Did i mention i am cooking for a special lady friend;)
