Chinese Cooking Recipes Question And Answer

Chinese sauce recipe?

My family loves Chinese, but I have a problem getting enough sauce in the stir fry. I don't like to overdo the soy sauce. I'd like recipes for beef & broccoli that provides the sauce with it (like for over rice), and maybe a garlic or oyster sauce. I'm not a very detailed cook, so simple recipes and ideas are wonderful.

I don't know the recipe for it but I love that stuff.I eat alot of it when I am at the chinese buffet.
Mix any store bought sauce... like soy or oyster with chicken stock and 5 spice powder if you coat the main ingredient in corn starch and then add liquid and other flavors, it always makes a sauce. Watch your ratio. corn starch to liquid. If you use more of one use twice the amount of the other in proportion.
chicken soup, corn starch, soy sauce. that's it.
