Make your favorite French Toast recipe. Cook them. Whip up some pancake batter. Dip the French Toast in the pancake batter, cook again. Pretty good and different.

Why not just dip the bread in the pancake mix to begin with?

If you just dip the bread in the pancake batter and fry it then you would be making it like frisch's big boy does. It's pretty good. Sounds good your way too.
