French Cooking Recipes Question And Answer



Recipe of any french veg Dish in which olive oil is used for cooking and does not need an oven?

I wana prepare some french dish which requires to be cooked in olive oil and does not need an oven. Tell me the recipe and i will try that out. I dont have an oven so tell me a dish which doesent require baking.

Mike, this is not correct. There are hundreds of dishes that you could make, most of them coming from the south of France. I suggest a "ratatouille". Very simple and excellent. You need onions, bell pepper (red or green), zucchini, eggplants and tomatoes. Proportions to your taste. (If you don't like pepper, don't use it, it's fine). Dice every thing (not too small), cook each veggie separately in very few olive oil and some salt and pepper. Put them together, add a bit (just a little bit !) of garlic. Keep cooking it slowly for 15 minutes. You can freeze it very well if you made too much. You can cook and re-cook it as many times as you want...
