émincer = cut up, cut into pieces equeutez= cut in half
In response...I did not say GRIND. You need to use your handy knife and mince finely....thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emincez means mince (for example, MINCE the garlic) Equeutez (to remove the stalk off) I know absolutely NO french, and I'm a caterer. But, the google showed the above two definitions...WHEW, this was a toughy! Good luck. What is the recipe???
Hi there, émincer = to slice/to chop finely, i.e. precise blade work, *not* to mince/grind, which is 'hacher' équeuter = to remove the stalk, eg. from stone fruit like cherries (from 'queue' = tail) When applied to other fruit, strawberries for instance ('équeutez les fraises'), it means the same as 'hull the strawberries' in English. Hope this helps
