im taken culinary arts school and im opening my own german-american resturant. would love more recipes?
i am moving to germany with my husband who is stationed there. While i am there im taking culinary arts and would like to open up a german-american resturant when i get back. i would love to have lots of recipes to choose from. also as a military wife who loves to cook i get lots of requests and i am kind of expected to cook for my husband and ALL of his friends. any suggestions for new and delious meals?

Mohnklöße is a German recipe for which you can find plenty of recipes on the internet, and its very good, its a pudding made with poppy seed which you will be able to buy there.
Jager schnitzel, if you please. You might see if you can get some of the local ladies to help you build a cook book. It would help greatly when you open the restaurant.

I grew up in Lancaster PA, my grandmother was German, I know from good!
There is this dish my sister use to make all the time and I now have my own take on it and I believe it is a German dish called Oh-toe-nun-din. I really don't know how to spell it but it sounds like that I think.
Mashed potato's with fresh minced garlic, spinach, bacon and butter... season with abit of salt and pepper to taste.
Always a major winner when we serve it.
