My Guiness* corned beef is baking in the oven. What would be your side dish? My recipe called for washing and drying the corned beef, pack with brown sugar, place on rack and pour a little Guiness beer on top to dampen the sugar and pour the rest of the beer at the bottom of the pan, cover and low cook for a few hours. Not to sure about putting my veggies in, but maybe.* (I didn't have any Guiness beer, so I used Hawaiian Long Board Ale...corned beef with aloha?) What would your side dish be?

Ya gotta put cabbage in your corned beef! I put potatoes in too. I serve a small salad and beer, no other sides. Apple pie for dessert. I know it's not Irish, but I make really good pie...

maybe you should research it online. you shouldn't wait till when the beef is in the oven. that's kinda like.. procrastinating. do your own research. btw - i didn't even need the flippin' food anyway. i already had finished my project and just wanted to enhance it. sorry i asked.
